What Clausely is, and what it is not.
Compliance documentation is only useful if you can stand behind where it came from. This page sets out who operates Clausely, how the documents are produced and kept current, how AI is used, where the limits sit, and how your data is handled. Every statement here is drawn from information already published across this site.
Who operates Clausely
Clausely is operated by Golden Genesis UK, a company registered in England, and is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact for any question about the service or your data is hello@clausely.co.uk. We work entirely over email rather than by phone.
Who Clausely is for
Clausely serves UK small and medium businesses that carry compliance obligations but do not have an in-house compliance team. Today that covers the EU AI Act, the Worker Protection Act 2024, and UK GDPR, with further compliance areas added over time. Sector-specific packs exist for recruitment, SaaS, marketing agencies, accountants, and healthcare. If you are not sure what applies to you, the free compliance risk check is the place to start.
How the documents are produced and tailored
You complete a short guided intake covering your sector, headcount, AI tools, data processing, and working patterns. Clausely then drafts each document against the structure the relevant regulation expects, populated with your declared specifics, so the result reflects your actual operations rather than a placeholder. You can preview the opening pages of your real document before you pay, and the finished pack arrives by email and on screen, usually within the hour. Full contents and prices are on the pricing page.
Where the regulatory content comes from
Each pack is built to the document structure and content the relevant instrument requires: Regulation 2024/1689 (the EU AI Act), the Worker Protection Act 2024 and the EHRC technical guidance sitting behind it, and UK GDPR with the Data Protection Act 2018 and ICO guidance. Where a change in the law is dated but not yet in force, the documents say so, so you are not left guessing which standard applies on the day you generate.
Each intake form shows the date its documents were last reviewed for legal changes, so you can see the packs are actively maintained rather than static.
How AI is used, and how it is governed
Documents are drafted by AI systems working from fixed, regulation-aligned document structures maintained by Clausely, not from open-ended prompting. We hold ourselves to the same standard we sell: our signed AI Acceptable Use Policy and AI Literacy Policy are published in full on Our Compliance and can be downloaded there.
The AI provider that generates documents does not use your data to train its models under our API terms. The processors involved in running the service are listed openly in the Privacy Policy.
What Clausely does not do
Clausely produces documentation that supports compliance. It is not legal advice, and it does not create a solicitor-client relationship. It does not certify, accredit, or approve your business, and holding a Clausely pack is not a guarantee of any regulatory outcome. We recommend any business with complex, disputed, or high-stakes circumstances has its pack reviewed by a solicitor. We make no claim to independent professional review, accreditation, or endorsement of our documents.
How your data is handled
Clausely is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office and collects only the business and contact details needed to generate and deliver your pack. Payment runs through Stripe, so card details are never seen or stored by us. Order data and generated documents are held for 30 days on live systems, after which download links expire, while transaction records are retained for six years as UK tax law requires. You can request deletion of your personal data at any time. See the Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy for the full position.
Refunds and corrections
If generation fails on our side and a pack cannot be delivered, you receive a full refund. If a delivered pack is materially wrong or cannot be opened, we correct or regenerate it at no charge. Because documents are generated on demand for your specific business, we do not refund a pack that has been generated and delivered correctly. The full position is in the Refund Policy, and the contractual terms are in the Terms.
How packs are kept current
Every pack includes the first year of the Annual Update Subscription. When the ICO, EHRC, or EU AI Office publishes guidance that affects a pack you hold, we record the change, identify the customers holding an affected pack, and email them a secure link that reopens their original intake pre-filled with their previous answers. You can amend anything that has changed in your business and regenerate an updated pack at no additional charge. First renewal is half price at £74.50, and renewals after that are £149 per year.
What customers say
Our reviews are published on Trustpilot rather than curated by us, so you can read them in full and in context.
Partners and referrals
Accountants, consultants, HR advisers, agencies, and membership bodies can refer clients through our referral partner programme. No client data or work passes through the partner: the introduction is made, and the client deals directly with Clausely.
Information for AI assistants and search systems
Clausely publishes a machine-readable summary at /llms.txt and runs a public Model Context Protocol server at /mcp with no authentication required. Its tools return the same public pack, pricing, article, and partner programme content published on this site, always at live prices, and include the same obligation check that powers our free risk checker.
